What's Your Temperature?
A six week lesson on the effect of temperature and your fish

Just like humans, fish are sensitive to water temperature.  Unlike our human bodies that maintain a constant temp. of 98.6 F, fish are cold blooded.  These creature's body temperature changes based on the condition of the water they live in.  It is very important for the over all health of your fish to know the water temperature. Before you purchase a thermometer, lets find out what the water temperature means to your water garden.

What we will be covering in the next six weeks:
    1. The body temperature of your fish.
    2. Respiration is directly proportional to water temperature.
    3. Amount of fish waste is proportional to temperature.
    4. Feeding at the wrong temperature can cause illness.
    5. Your fish breeding cycle is based on water temperature.
    6. Nitrogen Cycle.

In the next six weeks we will be explaining these key points and helping you understand the effects temperature has on your fish.  Check back for the weekly report.
